7.45 am .......

We were awoken by the thundering of the farmer's tractor past our bedroom window early this morning. After just a tiny dose of annoyance, we quickly realised that it was high tide, climbed into our canoeing kit & headed for Mylor Creek!

The water was like a millpond. Herons were still sleeping at the water's edge. A kingfisher darted in & out of the trees. We paddled quietly up the creek & watched the world gradually wake up. What a way to start the day.
